About the event
This course is based on the Israeli shooting combat skills and on a technique developed to counter terror attacks (Active shooter in particular) in a civilian environment for the secret service's first responders. The shooting skills taught in this course are also the basic shooting skills for all counter terror units in Israel and practiced both in military and police units. The logic is that the basic fighting unit is the individual and giving him strong fighting skills will be the center of each fighting unit.
During the training we will train to fight under pressure in a simple and clear way. We will cover, among others the following subjects:
- Point shooting the Israeli way. We will work on a fast and accurate first bullet. Speed is the essence when you are attacked. Hitting with your first bullet is absolutely essential in a gun fight. We will work our way into shooting several bullets and controlling the pistol during long, fast and violent burst- suitable for counter terror shooting.
- Concealed carry. We will focus on drawing your weapon from a concealed carry condition and joining the fight from a point of advantage as a surprise force against an armed attacker. Considering that most civilians carry their weapons in a concealed carry, we believe this should be the way they train. Police officer or those who open carry can train in their usual carry.
- We will work on selective shooting. That means fast recognition of the bad guys and not shooting the good guys. This is a major factor in a civilian environment, we cannot afford collateral damage and we need to be responsible for each bullet we shoot. In addition we will shoot in hostage situations. We will shoot at attackers in different distances and different positions
- Fast and combat magazin changes and malfunctions
Beginners and advanced are welcome, suitable for women & men. Israeli tactics for the individual warrior and individual skills.
